Position Description:
Accounting Associate
The Accounting Associate will be responsible for supporting the new product development efforts of AMI by being a good support to the President & CEO, the team of chemist and other staff members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include the following; however, Management reserves the right to assign or reassign other appropriate duties to this job at any time.
• Accounts Receivable and Payable.
• Purchasing.
• Account Management.
• Finance; working with auditors and accountants • Billing Customers
• Inventory Management using QuickBooks
• Employee Maintenance of files and benefits management
• A high level of competency with QuickBooks and financial statements.
• Manage administration staff in support of business operations goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Office administration staff
Qualifications:

• Excellent competency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and similar software.
• Willing to work as a team leader and a team member.
• Ability to organize work efficiently is essential.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
• 3 or more years of experience in an executive office support staff environment.
• 1 or more years of experience in supply chain management.
• 3 or more years of experience with QuickBooks.
Language Skills:
• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from upper management and co-workers, vendors and customers.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to focus with near or distant vision.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
