QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace.
- Organizational skills, financial record keeping and electronic database management.
- Office management experience.
- Possess excellent human relations and communications skills.
- Excellent telephone and email communication skills.
- Other qualifications as deemed necessary by the Regional Superintendent.
- Any of the above qualifications may be waived by the Regional Superintendent when necessary.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Customer Service
A. Completes all tasks in a friendly, client driven manner.
B. Maintains a positive attitude and climate.
C. Takes initiative.
D. Uses a problem-solving approach.
II. Communication
A. Answers incoming calls, responds to inquiries, direct calls to appropriate individuals, and takes and tracks messages.
B. Assists with social media and website for ROE SchoolWorks.
C. Oversees confidential information and maintains its integrity.
D. Tracks and reports on projects, events and services.
III. Operations
A. Assists the Director of SchoolWorks with all duties related to the office operations.
B. Orders and maintains inventory of office supplies for SchoolWorks.
C. Maintains and provides support, filing, mailing, scheduling, and other duties as needed for the department.
D. Monitors calendar/schedule for SchoolWorks and communicates upcoming tasks to staff.
E. Creates and maintains spreadsheets and records related to projects, events, services, and communications.
F. Schedules and coordinates necessary meetings and other events and ensures that meeting minutes, agendas and other appropriate documentation are available.
IV. Payroll and Budget
A. Files and submits employee leave forms to payroll specialist.
B. Prepares invoices for payment.
C. Reconciles monthly bank statements with financial reports and general ledger.
D. Provides the Director of SchoolWorks with current budget information.
V. Event Management
A. Supports registration, secures venue and arranges for food etc. for ROE SchoolWork events that take place in the region.
B. Monitors Request Forms and reports new requests to the Director and Event Coordinator.
C. Distributes flyers and web postings to all necessary stakeholders of ROE SchoolWorks.
VI. Performs Other Duties As Assigned
